Reasons to spend the day with us

Get Outside

Fresh air benefits a number of systems in your body including your digestive and cardiovascular systems. It boosts immunity by increasing the amount of oxygen we get, in turn helping white blood cells function properly to kill bacteria and germs. Fresh air cleans your lungs, boosts your mood, lowers your heart rate, increases energy levels and even improves digestion. In combination with bright sunlight, it also helps you to get a better night's sleep.

Get In The Sun

The sun loads your body with vitamins and hormones. The best-known benefit of sunlight is its ability to boost the body's vitamin D supply. Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus; both are critical for building bone. Laboratory studies also show that vitamin D can reduce cancer cell growth, help control infections, reduce inflammation and increase serotonin levels; the hormone responsible for increasing happiness.

Get Moving

Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of heart disease and other diseases, and strengthen bones and muscles. Things like cardio, moderate exercise, and weight training can all signal your brain to release endorphins. Research shows that people who exercise regularly have better mental health and emotional wellbeing, and lower rates of mental illness.

Get Creative

Creativity makes the world a better, more friendly place. When you think creatively, you're opening your heart and mind and relating to people. When we use our creativity to solve problems, we become more innovative and productive in life. We learn how to look at things differently and have fun while doing it. Being creative can increase positive emotions, reduce depressive symptoms and anxiety, and strengthen our immune systems.
